New jersey medical marijuana patients no longer have to worry about their job security due to their cannabis use due to a new court decision that protects them under the anti-discrimination laws.

This is huge win for the public and could mean a sharp rise in medical marijuana patients in the near future. Think about all the individuals who need medical help but cant get it because they work for the state or for a private firm that drug tests.
This means that they don’t have to worry about losing their jobs because of their medication this is huge. I know that these kinds of jobs especially at the state level can be high stress environments and can cause chronic issues like anxiety, chronic pains, migraine all of which are diagnosis that are covered under the medical marijuana program. Remember that its still federally illegal.
Moving towards middle America, a small village in Michigan called Kalkaska is using their tax-payer land to grow medical marijuana. The small town has set aside 10 acres as a medical marijuana zone to get ahead of the industry in the state. A power move by village officials that is going to lead the way for many other Michigan villages to follow.
